BASSETERRE, Saint Kitts and Nevis – Saint Kitts and Nevis will look to continue their scorching form in Group A of League B when they take on Belize in 2019-20 Concacaf Nations League action on Sunday night at Warner Park in Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis.
The Sugar Boyz could not have picked a better moment to have found their scoring stroke. The islanders traveled to Belize on Thursday and emerged with a decisive 4-0 win that places them in third place in the group with four points, just one point back of second place French Guiana and three behind group leaders Grenada.
Saint Kitts and Nevis have struck for six goals in the last two matches, and leading the way has been Rowan Liburd.
After netting the crucial equalizer in Saint Kitts and Nevis’ 2-2 draw with French Guiana last month, the 27-year-old stayed red-hot and scored a second half hat-trick in a span of 16 minutes to power Saint Kitts and Nevis to Thursday’s win.
For Belize, who is fourth with one point, this encounter is an important chance to earn a full three points and get back into the promotion and 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup conversation.
