BASSETERRE, Saint Kitts and Nevis – Grenada will be seeking to nail down a spot in the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup when they take on Saint Kitts and Nevis on Thursday in Group A of League B of the 2019-20 Concacaf Nations League at Warner Park in Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis.
With 10 points, Grenada own a five-point advantage in the table over second-place French Guiana and can clinch a Gold Cup berth and promotion to League A by earning all three points against the Sugar Boyz.
It marks the ninth meeting between the two and the fourth to take place in Saint Kitts and Nevis, where the home side is unbeaten against the Spice Boys with a win and two draws.
These two teams met back on matchday One in which a late Jamal Charles goal earned Grenada a 2-1 win. Charles leads Grenada in scoring in the CNL with four goals, but he has a worthy adversary on the other side of the ball in Rowan Liburd.
Saint Kitts and Nevis’s dangerman has four goals as well in League B, including a hat trick in last month’s 4-0 win over Belize.
