CAYENNE, French Guiana – Grenada will be look to continue their winning ways in the 2019-20 Concacaf Nations League when they take on French Guiana in Group C of League B on Thursday at the Stade Municipal Dr. Edmard Lama in Cayenne, French Guiana.
The Spice Boys earned six points with two wins in their first two matches in the group, with a 2-1 home win over Saint Kitts and Nevis and a tough 2-1 victory at Belize.
The hero for Grenada was Jamal Charles, who scored the winning goal in the final 10 minutes of each match, putting him as the top scorer in the group.
This will be the third meeting between the two nations, with the previous encounters coming in 2012 and 2014, respectively in Concacaf Caribbean Cup Qualifying with both ending in 1-1 draws.
With a win, French Guiana can leapfrog over Grenada and into first place in the group.
With the likes of FW Alex Eric, who scored in the 2-2 draw with Saint Kitts and Nevis, in the fold, Les Yana Dokos will feel plenty confident about securing three points in front of the home fans.
