WILLEMSTAD, Curacao -- The final game of League C Group B has arrived, and both teams still have everything to play for at the Ergilio Hato Stadium in Willemstad on Sunday.
Bonaire sit three points back of Bahamas and six back on goal differential; with a three-goal win they would draw level in both categories and win the tiebreaker on goals scored. Anything less will see the Baha Boyz win promotion and a place in the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup playoffs.
The two teams have met once before, earlier in the group stage when Bahamas emerged 2-1 victors at home. Happy Hall and Cameron Hepple scored the goals for the home side.
The Baha Boyz have a perfect three wins from three, and looked very comfortable in a 3-0 victory over British Virgin Islands at home earlier in the week.
But they will need to be cautious of Bonaire, who have demonstrated high goal scoring ability throughout the group stage, including when they scored three in the final seven minutes for an epic comeback against the British Virgin Islands last month.
All-time leading scorer Yurick Seinpaal scratched one out against Bahamas the last time out, and with Bonaire needing a few goals, he and the rest of the team will come out swinging.
