BRIDGETOWN, Barbados -- Group A play in League C of the Concacaf Nations League continues this Saturday when second-place Barbados take on the third-place US Virgin Islands in Bridgetown.
Barbados lost their previous match to the Cayman Islands 3-2 and are looking to get back to their winning ways on familiar turf.
Last time they played at Wildey, the home side looked fantastic in a 4-0 win over Saint Martin with debutant Nicholas Blackman netting a brace.
The Tridents have scored six goals through their first two matches, and more notably have produced five different goalscorers. The diverse attack will keep the US Virgin Islands and GK Lionel Brown on their toes.
The USVI picked up their first win of the competition against Saint Martin last time out, scoring twice in the opening six minutes to seize control of the match and never letting go.
The Dashing Eagle have yet to concede in the first half in Nations League play, with a plus-two goal differential during the opening period.
Both teams sit three points back of group leaders Cayman Islands with four matches still to play, so the group is still wide open as things currently stand.
