ST. JOHN'S, Antigua and Barbuda – Antigua and Barbuda welcome group leaders Jamaica in Group C of League B in the 2019-20 Concacaf Nations League on Friday at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda.
Antigua and Barbuda will look to avenge a 0-6 loss in their opening match against Jamaica in Montego Bay. They’ll also look to finish unbeaten at home in the group stage.
The Benna Boys did bounce back from their opening loss against Jamaica with wins against Aruba and Guyana. A 5-1 loss at Guyana dropped them to third place.
Jamaica have been a force to reckon with, surging to a 4-0-0 mark in the group with 18 goals for and zero against. Eleven different players have scored for the Reggae Boyz through their first four group matches.
The two sides face off in Antigua for the first time since April 29, 2018, a 2-0 win by Jamaica. It will be the eighth time that the two have faced off this decade, with the Reggae Boyz taking five results and the other two ending in draws.
Jamaica can secure promotion to League A and qualification to the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup with a draw or a win.
